TODD BARRISH

Todd has held leadership roles in the digital content  heads up Maker Studios’ newly launched in-house agency, MakerMADE – providing creative resources, millennial marketing expertise and thought leadership in the ever-growing digital video space.  Prior to launching MakerMADE, Todd led Maker’s national sales efforts.  Todd began working in the original online video content space as VP, West Coast Sales at Digital Broadcasting Group where was instrumental in leading programs for McDonald’s, Ubisoft, Infiniti, Warner Bros, etc… Previously, Todd led the rich media sales team for Google’s Los Angeles office, DoubleClick division, working hand-in-hand with top entertainment studios and other marketers alike to develop leading video and immersive campaigns. Todd started his career at New York based full service agency, Mezzina Brown and Partners cutting his teeth creating major consumer advertising campaigns for clients such as R.J. Reynolds Finlandia Vodka and Disney.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland.

Todd has been working broadly within the Advertising/Content space for nearly 20 years.  Starting from the traditional Ad Agency world to Content Development and Sales - with stops in Ad Tech and Sales leadership along the way. Most recently he served as the EVP, Creative Partnerships at Endemol Shine Beyond spearheading the development and sales of digital formats to multiple distribution partners. Prior to Endemol, Barrish served as SVP, Global Strategic Partnerships at Maker Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company. In that role, Todd helped streamline the Maker Studios branded content group while also developing and leading Maker/Google’s co-sales strategy and outside partnership initiatives. He led the team that launched MakerOffers, the company’s programmatic native content technology solution. While at Maker, Barrish also served as VP of Maker Made, a millennial-focused advertising agency based on YouTube influence and expertise that he helped launch. Barrish joined Maker in 2011 as National Director of Sales based in Los Angeles. Prior to joining Maker Studios, Barrish was Vice President, Sales for Digital Broadcasting Group, where he managed the company’s West Coast sales team. Barrish also previously was the Rich Media Team Lead for Google and worked on the sales team for Doubleclick. Barrish is a graduate of the University of Maryland and resides in Los Angeles.
